Accessibility Statement — Neon Reindeer Marketing

This page sets out Neon Reindeer Marketing's commitment to WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility, the features built into this site to support all users, known limitations, and how to request assistance or report an issue.

Our commitment

Neon Reindeer Marketing is committed to ensuring this website is accessible to all people, including those using assistive technologies or accessing the web in non-standard ways. This reflects our broader values around inclusion, equity, and responsible practice — the same values that underpin our work in responsible AI.

We design and build this site applying Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, aiming to remove barriers to access regardless of a visitor's abilities, devices, or context.

Standards & conformance

WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Conformance Target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 · Level AA

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and are also referenced by the Australian Government's Digital Service Standard.

Where full conformance is not yet achieved, we note known issues below and are actively working to resolve them.

Accessibility features

This site includes the following features designed to improve accessibility:

  • Skip to content link — appears on focus at the top of every page so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
  • Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (header, main, footer, nav), and descriptive link text throughout
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard; focus states are clearly visible
  • Colour contrast — text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements
  • Descriptive alt text — all meaningful images have alternative text; decorative images are marked appropriately
  • ARIA labels — interactive components, icons, and non-text controls include accessible labels for screen reader users
  • Responsive design — content adapts to different screen sizes, zoom levels, and orientations without loss of function
  • No time limits — no automatic timeouts or timed content that would disadvantage users who need more time
  • Plain language — content is written clearly to support users with cognitive or learning differences
  • HTML policy documents — all policies (Privacy Policy, AI Use Policy, Website Use Policy) are published as accessible HTML pages, not PDFs, ensuring they are fully navigable by screen readers and keyboard users

Known issues

We are not aware of any significant barriers to access at the time of our last review. However, we recognise that accessibility is an ongoing commitment. The following items are on our improvement roadmap:

Policy document accessibility: All policies (Privacy Policy, AI Use Policy, Website Use Policy) are published as accessible HTML pages. No PDF documents are used for policy content. No known issues.

Keyboard navigation: All page navigation, interactive components, and form elements are keyboard-operable. No known issues.

Colour contrast: All text meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios. No known issues.

Images and alt text: All meaningful images have descriptive alternative text. No known issues.

404 error page: A custom 404 page is provided for broken or incorrect URLs. It includes the site header, navigation, helpful links to key pages, and a contact prompt — ensuring users are never left at a dead end. Skip navigation and all accessibility features are consistent with the rest of the site.

If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know so we can address it.
